About Me

Hello, I'm Anna (she/her)

At the core of my therapeutic approach is the value I place on our relationship; first as human beings, second as client and therapist. Positive outcomes in therapy are often attributed to the quality of the client/therapist relationship, as such my aim is to build an authentic and genuine relationship with you in the hope that our connection facilitates positive change and improved mental wellbeing. We will explore the issues that have brought you to therapy with honesty, curiosity and compassion, processing the more difficult and painful events you've experienced, but with a focus of finding hope and a way to move forward.

In my experience clients are the experts of their own lives, this is why I won't tell you what to do or give you advice, what I will do is support you in finding the answers and solutions to your issues that feel most authentic and achievable to you, empowering you to feel more confident and in control of your life.

I work as a Humanistic Integrative Therapist, which simply means I blend a range of theories and skills from different theoretical approaches (predominantly Person Centred, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and CBT) in order to provide you with therapeutic support unique to your needs and goals.

I work online providing therapy via Microsoft Teams and have appropriate training to do this in a safe and confidential manner.

I have helped my clients to overcome a range of mental health challenges including but not limited to depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship issues and life changes.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Therapist, with a Diploma and Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and adhere to their guidance and ethical framework at all times.

Please note I currently only work with people over the age of 18.
